World Health Summit & re:publica – Call for Papers “Health” Extended to 31 January!

Good news for the new year: we are very happy to announce our new partnership with the World Health Summit (WHS)! The summit on global health is an annual event and takes place each October in Berlin. The three-day WHS is defined by being interdisciplinary, international and independent and features experts from the fields of science, politics, economics and civil society. Together, they discuss and advise on the challenges of global health research and provision.

Our new cooperation is the perfect reason to further develop the health track sessions and extend its Call for Papers deadline. Session submissions will be accepted until 31 January 2016!

We want your ideas, topics and projects in the field of health – apply now! As always, we're looking for a broad spectrum of ideas. Last year's #rp15 health track included big data and wearables, 3D printed prosthetics, mobility and health, depression on the internet and much more (more inspiration here). Topics we'd like to cover include digital health, nutrition, healthy working environments, medical education, refugee assistance and disaster relief. Are you developing gadgets, hardware or software for the health sector? Submit your exciting ideas!

Together with World Health Summit, our long-term co-curator Tobias Neisecke and journalist and re:publica speaker Shari Langemak, our programme team will use your submissions to put together another diverse and exciting event programme.
