Sara is Project Director at Games for Change, the leading global organization advocating the power of games for social impact, where she leads learning programs and strategic partnerships. Prior to G4C, Sara managed research communications and design at United Nations Global Pulse, a big data innovation lab of the UN Secretary-General, where she developed the 2014 Big Data Climate Challenge, crowdsourcing data-driven climate change projects from around the world. With 8+ of cross-sector experience as a communication strategist and project manager, Sara has worked in advertising for clients including Pfizer, Merck and Medtronic, and for a sustainable energy NGO in Ethiopia. Sara has a MFA in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and a BA from Vassar College in Urban Studies.
