Emily King

Emily King is a free-lance well-being massage practitioner. She makes/creates, studies, and transmits massages, trained (and training) in a variety of techniques which she likes to combine. She believes in the power of massage to positively transform whom and what it touches, and thinks of the well-being arts as tools literally at hand for rejuvenation, resiliency, inspiration, knowledge, courage, community, love. Her collaborations often involve people outside of the field, artists, musicians, activists, and through her workshops and writings, she seeks to make massage resources more common, by facilitating their circulation and generally encouraging confidence in everyone’s capacity to give and receive goodness. She is a co-founder, caregiver and facilitator within the collective Hacking with Care, along with Internet activist Jérémie Zimmerman and other friends.
